Toronto, July 12, 2022 – The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) is pleased to announce that Wynward Insurance Group has maintained its support of the Broker Identity Program (BIP) at the Full Partner level.
Wynward’s sponsorship will support IBAC’s Broker Identity Program (BIP), a national advertising campaign that raises awareness of the significant value that insurance brokers provide for their clients – choice, advice and advocacy.
In addition, their investment will contribute to important IBAC initiatives including IBAC’s technology leadership, professional development of the broker workforce, and our strong and effective federal advocacy to maintain the separation of banking and insurance, which protects consumers and promotes a fair and competitive marketplace.
“Wynward is proud to demonstrate our commitment to the broker channel by remaining a Full Partner in the Broker Identity Program for 2022. As a commercial insurer we see the value that brokers bring every day, advocating for policyholders and providing sound advice. Our success as a company relies on strong broker partnerships, and our growth trajectory has only been made possible due to brokers seeing the benefit of a Wynward policy and highlighting those advantages for clients.” stated Darryl Levy, President & Chief Executive Officer of Wynward.
“IBAC welcomes Wynward’s renewed partnership and their continued investment in our programs and priorities” said Peter Braid IBAC Chief Executive Officer. “Wynward’s longstanding commitment to distribute their products exclusively through the broker channel underscores our shared values of serving the best interests of insurance consumers, and recognizes the enduring benefits of the advice and support that brokers provide.”
